Current Opportunity

Right now, we´re seeking a Data Architect to take the ownership of data architecture of the data platform, build and maintain the solution frameworks, develop blue-print of the entire data ecosystem and interfaces. Help engineers to build applications on the data platform. 

What You’ll Be Doing

Your daily activities will include, but not limited to:

• Design & implement complete data paltform landscape including data ingestion, data storage, data processing, data consumption (reporting, extracts, API, streams), data intelligence (AI / ML)
• Design real time and batch applications on cloud and develop POCs
• Develop and provide development frameworks on data platform to the BI delivery teams
• Design new data solutions for business requiremets on MS Azure and ‘big data’ technologies like Kafka, Spark, DataBricks, DataFactory, NoSql DBs, Open AI, Azure components
• Document the entire data platform, solutions, systems, policies, frameworks
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• A degree in Computer Science / Information Technology
• Fluent communication skills in English both written and verbal
• Team player who can share experience with the team and grow them technically
• High quantitative and cognitive ability to solve complex problem and think with a vision

You Should Have Experience In

• Experience with MS Azure (DataBricks, Data Factory, Data Lake, Cosmos DB, Event Hub, PowerBI, Synapse, SQL Server)
• Experience in building and productionizing big data architectures, pipelines and data sets.
• Understanding (big) data concepts and patterns (data lake, lambda architecture, streaming processing, DWH, BI & reporting)
• Minimum 8 years experience in data and 2+ years of experience in a Data Architect role
• Experience with object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Python, Scala, Java, Scala, R, C++ etc.
• Experience in Implementing large-scale data/events-oriented pipelines/workflows
• Extensive working experience with relational (MS SQL, Oracle, postgress, Snowflake) and NoSQL databases (Cassandra, MongoDB, Redshift, Elasticsearch, Redis,...)
• Experience with working on AI ML solutions and integraations to front ends and other applications
• Exposing data to other applications via API, streams, exports.
• Strong analytic skills related to working with (un)structured datasets.
• Experience in setting up and using CI/CD automation tools
