Current Opportunity

Right now, we´re seeking a Data Governance Analyst is to ensure that an organization's data is managed effectively and efficiently by creating and implementing policies, procedures, and standards for data models, data quality, data security, data privacy, data discovery and data compliance. They are responsible for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of data through the identification and documentation of business rules, processes, systems, applications, and data flows. 

 

What You’ll Be Doing

Your daily activities will include, but not limited to:

  • Own and document data artifacts – data flows, data specs, KPI definitions, data lineage, data model, tables, logics in DWH & Data Lake
  • Define data layers, data assets, data access policy, data governance process
  • Identify and document the KPI business logics, business data flows, data in systems, data in applications
  • Design enterprise level data models based on business requirements
  • Develop a data governance framework to capture any change in the data
  • Guide the entire data team with data knowledge and guide them in right direction
  • Work as a key contributor to increasing the quality of data assets deliverables
  • Leverage defect metrics to help improve development and testing practices

 

What We’re Looking For

  • A degree in Computer Science / Information Technology /MBA
  • Fluent communication skills in English both written and verbal
  • Team player who can share experience with the team and grow them technically
  • High quantitative and cognitive ability to solve complex problem and think with a vision

 

You Should Have Experience In

  • 2 + years of experience as Business Analyst / Data Modeller / Data Steward analyzing data, business requirements and systems
  • Ability to link data to definition, to tables to systems to source to the business process
  • Great hands-on documentation with business processes, flow charts, designs, mappings
  • Experience with data governance frameworks and ability to manage data as an asset
  • Good knowledge of SQL, data modelling, databases, JIRA, Confluence, MS Word, Excel, Test case, Power BI
