Where We Work?

This position is based in Montenegro and works closely with both local LOB BET teams and international specialists across Fortuna Entertainment Group.

You will collaborate with colleagues from Trading, Risk, Bookmaking, Product, Data, CRM and Marketing, as well as with external platform and odds-feed providers.

Current Opportunity

We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Sportsbook Trader to manage and optimize Sportsbook trading operations for assigned sports and markets within LOB BET.

In this role, you will set and adjust accurate and competitive pre-match and live odds, manage betting limits and risk exposure, and take responsibility for maximizing trading margin, revenue and overall product performance.

You will continuously monitor betting activity, competitor pricing and market movements, taking timely corrective action whenever required. At the same time, you will help ensure that our Sportsbook remains reliable, competitive and fully compliant with Montenegro’s gaming regulations and internal trading policies.

Beyond day-to-day trading, you will contribute to the further development of our Sportsbook product. This includes cooperating with platform vendors, improving trading processes and tools, supporting new sports, markets and bet types, and working with Risk and Analytics teams on pricing and platform improvements.

What You’ll Be Doing

Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

• Set, monitor and adjust pre-match and live odds for assigned sports, leagues and events.
• Manage risk exposure and betting limits across individual markets, events, sports and customer segments.
• Monitor turnover, margin, revenue and P&L performance, taking corrective trading action when required.
• Analyze competitor pricing, customer activity and market movements to maintain an attractive and competitively priced betting offer.
• Identify and escalate suspicious betting behavior, arbitrage activity and potential integrity concerns.
• Support the launch and development of new sports, markets and bet types, including live betting and Bet Builder.
• Contribute to the improvement of pricing models, trading tools and platform functionality in cooperation with Risk, Analytics and Product teams.
• Manage relevant product processes and coordinate requirements with Sportsbook platform vendors and odds-feed providers.
• Ensure that all trading activities comply with Montenegro’s gaming regulations and internal trading policies.
• Prepare regular reports on trading performance, risk exposure and relevant commercial indicators for the Head of Trading.
• Collaborate with CRM and VIP teams on risk profiling and the management of high-value customers.
• Work with Marketing teams on promotions and campaigns that may affect betting liability or trading performance.

What We’re Looking For

• At least five years of professional experience in the sports betting industry, ideally in a Sportsbook trading or bookmaking role.
• Hands-on experience with pre-match and/or live odds management, pricing, risk exposure and betting limits.
• Strong knowledge of the local betting environment and customer behavior in Montenegro.
• Broad knowledge of sports, leagues, competitions and betting markets.
• Good understanding of Sportsbook commercial metrics, including turnover, margin, revenue and P&L.
• Experience identifying unusual betting activity, arbitrage opportunities and potential integrity risks.
• Practical knowledge of Sportsbook trading tools, software, odds feeds and betting platforms.
• Experience cooperating with platform vendors or contributing to Sportsbook product and process improvements.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into practical trading decisions.
• Experience working with Power BI or similar reporting and analytics tools.
• Good command of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• A delivery-focused and commercially minded approach.
• Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-moving environment and take ownership of results.
• English proficiency at a minimum B2 level, both written and spoken.
