Current Opportunity:
Right now, we´re seeking a Group Business Strategic Analyst to join our great Insight team within the Commercial department. You will play a critical role in enabling data‑driven, strategic, and commercially impactful decision‑making across the Fortuna Entertainment Group. The Business Strategic Analyst applies structured problem‑solving, deep market knowledge, and evidence‑based analysis to identify improvement opportunities, optimise business practices, and support Group‑to‑Local strategic alignment. This role partners with senior stakeholders to translate insights into actionable initiatives, ensuring measurable value creation across multiple markets and channels.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Your daily activities will include, but not limited to:
- Conduct comprehensive data, business, and financial analyses to identify performance drivers, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities across markets.
- Translate complex business questions into structured analytical approaches, generating clear, evidence‑based recommendations for senior management.
- Lead strategic problem‑solving activities, applying frameworks such as hypothesis‑driven analysis, KPI modelling, OKRs, and root‑cause analysis.
- Support execution of approved initiatives by defining KPIs, monitoring delivery progress, tracking impact, and facilitating cross‑market adoption.
- Prepare high‑quality strategic materials, including insights, storylines, business cases, and decision papers for C‑level and B‑level stakeholders. Conduct continuous market, competitive, and regulatory scanning to inform Group strategic direction and prioritization.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional and cross‑market teams, including CxOs, GMs, Product, Architecture, HR, and Business Analysis functions.
- Provide ongoing performance monitoring and stakeholder feedback loops, ensuring recommendations remain actionable and aligned with Group priorities.
What We’re Looking For:
You should have experience in:
- Master’s degree in IT, Economics, Business, Strategic Management, or a related field.
- Fluent level of English, both oral and written (at least C1+).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in business analysis, financial analysis, strategic advisory, or business implementation in complex, cross‑functional environments.
- Proven track record in analytical roles requiring strong logical reasoning, data interpretation, and structured problem‑solving.
- Experience working with technical teams and understanding development processes.
- Mandatory hands‑on experience with data analysis.
- Strong SQL and data‑manipulation skills in environments such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or equivalent.
- Advanced knowledge of PowerBI or equivalent BI/analytics platforms.
