Current Opportunity:

Right now, we are´ seeking a Group Gaming Operations Manager to join our Commercial Gaming Operations team in Prague. Reporting to the Group Head of Commercial Gaming Operations, the Gaming Operations Manager will work across group and local business units, provide best-in-class, localized and engaging gaming experiences, whilst supporting the ongoing optimization of commercial performance, creating and implementing structure in operations, and ongoing delivery of product integrity.

This role will support the efforts to champion and drive visibility of commercial operations and performance of the gaming vertical throughout the organisation, supporting local businesses in developing and adopting best practises in all areas.

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

The Commercial Gaming Operations Expert duties include but are not limited to:

  • Deployment of group best practices, across markets, embedding commercial optimization as BAU, granular oversight and reporting and reporting to the Group Head of Commercial Gaming Operations.
  • Engagement in the onboarding of new Gaming Businesses (M&A or Greenfield) to adopt group commercial principles and reporting frameworks across key metrics.
  • Onsite presence in group markets as needed for shorter or longer periods and ensure process solidity.
  • Operational product strategy prioritisation & delivery by market.
  • Driving commercial success for all gaming channels, products & markets.
  • Cooperation on promotion & marketing strategy both with group & local stakeholders.
  • Operational management of product portfolio.
  • Support in the delivery of competitor analysis alongside group & local stakeholders.
  • Sharing knowledge and visibility of local and global Industry trends (product + technical).
  • Identification and evaluation of opportunities.
  • Engagement with the analysis of product & technical performance, customer experience, & regular presentation of that data to the business.
  • Searching for & presenting commercial opportunities to the business.
  • A collaborative manager that embeds a culture where continuous improvement is embraced.
  • Represent the voice of the customer and the operational needs in relation to technical/product roadmap priorities and change decisions.
  • Support in the adoption and implementation of a data-driven approach to optimize gaming content positioning and hierarchy across all gaming websites and apps for customer & commercial benefit.
  • Work closely with all departments to identify and fix customer journeys and reduce contact-drivers.
  • Assist in the development of ways of working across markets ensuring that commercial decisions are made transparently, and centrally, for us to benefit from greater economies of scale.
  • Coordination with local business units, developers, frontend teams, group & local marketing, project management, customer research and other business departments, legal, compliance & procurement.

 

What We’re Looking For:

You should have experience in:

  • University education
  • 8+ years of experience in the Gaming industry including Casinos, Virtuals, and Lotteries (Regulated Markets).
    Strong knowledge and understanding of the gaming industry and major competitors
  • Excellent English language skills.
  • Product Development Management / Project Management
  • Knowledge of the business environment and compliance framework
  • Analytical and logical thinking
    Technical background & experience with development advantageous
  • Experience with Playtech Desirable
    Experience managing large multi-brands gaming operations
  • Multichannel Experience (IOS, Android, Desktop)
    Previous P&L ownership desirable
  • Previous experience in tier 1 operators
  • Strong customer experience and product vision
  • Hands-on attitude
  • Experience working in a multi-jurisdictional business desirable
  • Excellent Communication and presentation skills
  • KPI, customer, and results-oriented individual
  • Outstanding commercial awareness and analytical skills
  • Experience in managing substantial cost budgets and profit targets
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels from Board level to Colleague
