Current Opportunity

Right now, we´re seeking a Group Head of Sportsbook & Trading to join our great Product department at our vibrant Prague Headquarter, responsible for the margin policies and pricing, customer experience, strategy, and product vision of FEG’s Sportsbook and Trading propositions. The role will drive the long-term commercial success of these areas, ensuring alignment with the broader company strategy. Leading a high-performing team, the role will collaborate across departments to optimize operational efficiency, pricing strategies, and overall Sportsbook product delivery.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Your daily activities will include, but not limited to:

Strategy & Commercial Performance

• Define and execute the Sportsbook strategy, ensuring alignment with FEG’s business objectives. Develop a data-driven approach to improve profitability, customer engagement, and market positioning.
• Set and implement a pricing and odds strategy in alignment with the Customer Value Proposition and local brand strategies.
• Oversee third-party partnerships, ensuring high-quality service levels and long-term strategic value. Identify new market opportunities and expansion strategies to enhance FEG’s sportsbook proposition.

Leadership & organizational development

• Provide strategic leadership for the Trading and Sportsbook teams, ensuring strong decision-making and execution. Lead the team through significant change, defining the optimal operating model and organizational structure.
• Foster a high-performance culture, coaching and developing talent to build a strong internal pipeline for key roles.

Operations & Trading Optimization

• Optimize trading workflows and automation, leveraging new technologies to enhance efficiency.
• Ensure Sportsbook product delivery meets quality, innovation, and timeline expectations.
• Drive operational excellence, improving processes, feature development, and automation across platforms.
• Oversee market analysis and competitor benchmarking to maintain a competitive advantage.
• Evaluate and implement AI-driven trading tools and automation for risk management and real-time adjustments.

Data & Insights-Driven Decision Making

• Implement advanced reporting and analytics to drive business performance improvements.
• Monitor and analyze customer behaviours, risk exposure, and betting patterns to optimize trading and profitability.
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure measurable success.
• Leverage predictive analytics and machine learning to enhance trading strategies and pricing models

What We’re Looking For

You should have experience in:

• Fluent English, both written and oral (at least C1)
• 10+ years of experience from sports betting and 5+ years of experience in dealing with 3rd parties (data feed and streaming)
• At least 5 years of experience in People Management
• Outstanding knowledge of various bookmaking tools
• A solid experience in Sportsbook & Trading in both a retail and e-commerce environment. Ideally, with a multi-channel sportsbook & trading sector experience
• Solid track record of leading a transformation program in a sportsbook and gaming multi-channel context
