We are looking for an IT Monitoring Service Owner to support IT, Development and Product teams during the entire service life cycle here in FEG. The main goal is to ensure smooth service delivery of dedicated services within the granted responsibility domain, focusing on state-of-the-art service level management (incident/problem/change management etc.).

 

YOU WILL:

  • Act as the overall owner of Monitoring and Logging services, ensuring their reliability, availability, and quality

  • Establish and enforce operational processes and procedures for effective use of monitoring tools

  • Communicate with leaders, stakeholders, and users to identify and prioritize monitoring requirements, and ensure appropriate actions are taken

  • Define, implement and run controls to ensure Monitoring and Logging solutions work as expected

  • Troubleshoots issues within own area of expertise and supports others in resolving issues

  • Provide technical guidance to the team on monitoring tools and methodologies

  • Continuously improve monitoring capabilities and ensure adherence to industry best practices

 

YOU HAVE:

  • Experience in maintaining HA standards on heavy traffic systems

  • Strong understanding of monitoring tools, techniques, and methodologies

  • Hands-on experience with monitoring solutions such as Zabbix, Dynatrace, Nagios, etc.

  • Hands-on experience with log analytics solutions such as OpenSearch, Elasticsearch, etc.

  • Proficiency in scripting languages such Powershell, Python, Bash, etc. and in configuration management tools such Terraform, Ansible, Salt, or similar
