Current Opportunity:

Right now, we´re seeking a Group IT Network Services Manager responsible for the Company's IT Network technologies and related processes. You will also be in charge of planning, organization, and implementation of FEG Network strategy.

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

Your daily activities will include, but not limited to:

  • Lead a team of Network engineers responsible for business-critical systems (24x7, several data centers over the Europe including Cloud networks)
  • Plan, organize, coordinate, assign, and monitor all aspects of a team, and redirect efforts as needed to meet operational and project requirements
  • Design, architecture and operations of all network related technologies across FEG
  • Administration routers, switches, leased lines (L2, L3 infrastructure)
  • Administration of firewalls, related Cloud technologies (Azure networking, DDoS protection) and related services (monitoring, DNS, AS, RIPE)
  • Coordinate activities with other departments within the FEG in line with the company's objectives
  • Manage suppliers and service providers ensuring end-to-end service quality within approved budget

 

What We’re Looking For:

You should have experience in:

  • 5+ years of experience in various networking areas (architecture, design, operations of routing, switching, firewalling, security, Cloud) and 5+ years of experience managing teams, strongly welcome if it`s across several countries
  • Open-Source oriented knowledge
  • Experience in budgeting
  • Implementation record of configuration management
  • Experience integrating and managing complex infrastructure solutions
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences
  • Good ability to document solutions, both in written form and using appropriate visual tools/techniques, e.g. Visio, Enterprise Architect, UML

 

It would be a bonus if you bring:

  • Knowledge of public clouds (Azure, AWS)
  • High-level knowledge of virtualization and container platforms – Vmware, and K8s
  • Experience in cloud migration
