YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Full Lifecycle Expertise: Provide expertise across the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment
- Quality Code: Create well-designed, testable, and efficient code
- Application Development: Develop, implement, and maintain Java/Kotlin-based applications with a focus on back-end microservices
- Dockerization: Dockerize applications using OpenShift
- Technical Support: Provide end-to-end technical support and problem resolution
- DevOps Mindset: Embrace the "you build it, you run it" philosophy
- Tech Decision-Making: Contribute to decisions regarding future technologies and improvements
- Cross-Team Communication: Regularly communicate complex technical matters with other development teams autonomously
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
- Professional Experience: 2-3 years of experience as a Java/Kotlin Developer
- Spring Boot Knowledge: Proficiency in Spring/Spring Boot lifecycle
- Event-Based Architecture: Familiarity with event-based architecture (e.g., RMQ, Kafka) is a plus
- Database Proficiency: Experience with, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, and Hazelcast is advantageous
- Orchestration Skills: Knowledge of Kubernetes, OpenShift, or similar platforms is beneficial
- Version Control: Experience with Git (Bitbucket) and GitHub is a big plus
- Full Development Lifecycle: Understanding of the full development lifecycle
