Current Opportunity:
Right now, we are seeking a Group Legal Manager to join our great Group Legal and Compliance Department, responsible for the effective management of the group legal department, ensuring due and effective processing and timely delivery of group contracts, management of legal team and their capacities and managing external legal counsels, where needed.
In cooperation with Group Compliance Department addressing regulatory requirements and implementation on the Group level. Involves regular interaction with local and Group stakeholders to define and execute right Legal strategy by ensuring effective addressing and processing of contractual relations.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Your daily activities will include, but not limited to:
- Overseeing the full legal workload (gaming & betting, finance, HR, IT, supplier contracts), negotiating with external partners, making decisions on contractual matters, and ensuring internal policies comply with legal requirements.
- Planning, organizing, and allocating tasks within the legal team, while effectively managing external legal advisors and associated budgets.
- Monitoring the business impact of contractual workflows, streamlining processes to improve efficiency, and implementing initiatives that support business growth while managing identified risks.
- Providing full legal assistance in mergers and acquisitions, development projects, financial products, and contract negotiations.
- Developing a deep understanding of business, shareholder, and stakeholder needs and integrating these into daily legal processes and decision-making.
- Structuring and advising on Group internal reorganizations, intragroup M&As, and broader organizational changes.
What We’re Looking For:
You should have experience in:
- Master’s degree in law
- At least 8 years of experience in a legal function.
- Fluent level of English, both written and verbal (at least C1 level)
- Experience with M&A, restructuring projects and Banking & Finance.
- Proof-track of contract management and negotiation.
- Experience in leading an international team and in an international company.
- Project management skills with solid technical understanding.
It would be a bonus if you bring:
- Experience in the gambling or entertainment business
- Knowledge of the UK Law / Common Law system
- Bar Exam / Qualification in CEE / UK
