Current Opportunity:
The Marketing Innovation Specialist will support the Marketing Innovation Team in developing and implementing innovative marketing strategies and tools to enhance customer life cycle management and customer engagement. This role will focus on driving CRM improvements, personalization, campaign evaluations, custom promotions, and other key initiatives to achieve scalable and automated marketing processes.
Responsibilities:
- Experiment with new promotions, gaming mechanics, and build proof of concepts (POCs). Support the ideation phase of technical implementation in collaboration with the technology team if the experiments prove valuable.
- Collaborate with the Group CRM team and other team members to develop and implement innovative marketing strategies.
- Support the delivery of CRM improvements, including templates, segmentation blocks, and utilities, to enhance the ways of working and key marketing KPIs.
- Assist in cross-market configuration sharing to ensure consistency and efficiency across different markets.
- Implement personalization initiatives using product feeds and available data sources.
- Contribute to campaign evaluation improvements within the Marketing Hub.
- Assist in the re-evaluation of marketing communication frequency to optimize communication strategies.
- Support the automation of promotions, enabling GMTECH to hand over custom promotions configuration to configuration and local teams.
- Maximize the utilization of Marketing Hub features, improving user proficiency through training, and ensuring high adoption rates of new features and best practices.
- Work closely with the BI & Insight team to ensure data-driven decision-making.
- Follow market trends and discover new opportunities for technological innovation in marketing.
- Challenge the status quo of other teams related to customer lifecycle, marketing campaigns, and products by identifying areas that do not bring value, and suggest alternative approaches to improve efficiency.
- Perform further tasks, activities and projects linked directly or indirectly with the position and above mentioned responsibilities, set by the superior or other company’s management member.
- Group Retention & Group marketing technology teams, IT/Product Development, Bookmaking, Customer Service, Playtech, other 3rd party service providers.
Requirements:
- A marketing or business degree, ideally with strong IT literacy
- Hands-on experience with CDP and CRM systems (3+ years)
- Strong orientation in marketing technologies: paid media platforms, APIs & integrations (basic understanding), tracking setup (client tracking, s2s, hybrid).
- Basic programming skills (any language, pref. Python, JS).
- Fluent English
- At least 3 years of experience in online/multi-channel marketing.
- A growth mindset – always be looking for how we can get “just that 1%” better
- Strong analytical and data-driven thinking
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage your time and tasks effectively
- Passionate with innovative thinking and up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing world
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience in the online gambling industry is a plus
