We are looking for a methodical and results-driven Performance Test Engineer, to execute performance testing-related tasks on daily basis to ensure product quality in this area. As a Performance Test Engineer, you will be required to take responsibility for the E2E Performance area in order to provide product excellence prior to FEG business. The ideal candidate should have a passion for detecting and solving problems and an eagle-eye for detail along with the ability to see the overall picture. An excellent Performance Test Engineer has solid knowledge of software development, superb analytical skills, and an above-average ability to foresee technical problems regardless the requirements are functional or non-functional.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and develop performance test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures based on project requirements and performance goals;
- Execute performance tests to evaluate system behavior under various load conditions, including stress, endurance, and scalability testing;
- Analyze test results and performance metrics to identify performance bottlenecks, system limitations, and areas for optimization;
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to troubleshoot performance issues, prioritize fixes, and implement performance optimizations;
- Utilize monitoring and visualization tools such as Grafana to track and analyze system performance metrics in real-time;
- Conduct frontend performance testing to assess web application responsiveness, page load times, and resource utilization;
- Experience with Sitespeed is a plus, enabling deeper insights into web performance metrics and user experience;
- Provide timely and accurate performance testing reports, summaries, and recommendations to stakeholders, including management and development teams.
WE REQUIRE:
- A minimum of 2 years experience in the performance area of testing;
- Strong communication skills (very good written/spoken English);
- Proven hands-on record in performance testing (capacity, load, volume, stress, scalability, endurance or soak testing approaches) in areas of business, application layer, and infrastructure;
- Hands-on experience with Grafana/Prometheus/InfluxDB for monitoring and analyzing system performance metrics;
- Familiarity with Sitespeed is a plus, but not required;
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot performance issues;
- Experience with performance tooling (WebLoad, Apache JMeter, StressSimulus, K6.io, SmartMeter, Gatling, etc..).
