Current Opportunity:
Right now, we are´ seeking a Group Product Owner to join our Customer Engagement team in Prague. The Product Owner is responsible for supporting the development and optimization of internal tools (Sportsbook Bonus Manager, Promotion Manager for segmented promotions) to drive customer engagement and marketing effectiveness. This role works closely with stakeholders, developers, and business analysts to translate business needs into actionable product features, ensuring alignment with departmental goals and industry standards in casino and sports betting.
What You’ll Be Doing:
The main responsibilities are to:
- Take ownership of the business requirement and ensure it is delivered from the initial idea submission through production release. Overseeing each step as "Feature owner".
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and marketing teams to gather and clarify requirements for customer engagement and promotional tools.
- Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring features and enhancements are well-defined and aligned with business objectives.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (refinements, planning, reviews, retrospectives) and support SAFE practices.
- Assist in documenting user journeys, business processes, and domain specifics for sportsbook and casino promotions.
- Monitor product performance and user feedback, proposing improvements to maximize engagement and bonus effectiveness.
- Support the implementation and rollout of new features, coordinating with cross-functional teams.
- Identify and communicate risks or dependencies related to product development.
- Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory requirements in gaming and betting.
- Analyze market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor offerings in sports betting and casino to inform product development.
Cooperation with:
- Work closely with key internal teams, including Product, Technology, Acquisition, CRM, and Marketing, to ensure the effective implementation and optimization of customer engagement and promotions products. This collaboration aims to align product strategies with business objectives and facilitate seamless integration across the organization.
- Partner with development teams and leadership roles, such as the Scrum Master and Architect, to translate strategic vision into actionable goals and ensure the delivery of high-quality product features that meet customer needs.
- Engage with diverse stakeholders across multiple countries to capture and address all requirements, coordinating efforts to align product practices with local needs and global standards. Advocate for proper product utilization to maximize potential and benefits.
- Collaborate with teams responsible for analytics and customer insights to gather feedback and data that inform product decisions, ensuring that the voice of the customer is represented throughout the development process
What We’re Looking For:
You should have experience in:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Economics, Business, or related field.
- Fluent English - Oral and Written communication (B2 level or higher)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in product ownership, business analysis, or related role (preferably in online gaming, casino, or sports betting).
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, MS Office.
- Basic understanding of sportsbook and casino operations, bonus mechanics, and promotional strategies.
- Awareness of regulatory requirements in gaming/betting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- User-centric mindset and interest in UI/UX trends.
- Familiarity with Agile principles and requirement management tools.
- Ability to create clear, structured documentation: create PRDs, specs, user stories, release notes that follow logical structure, include acceptance criteria, and are readable by engineers, designers, and stakeholders.
- Executive communication: present strategy and trade-offs succinctly to senior stakeholders, focusing on outcomes, risks, and resourcing tasks.
