Current Opportunity:

Right now, we are´ seeking a Group QA Engineer to join our Group SB Betting Unit in Prague. Reporting to our Group Sportsbook Offer Presentation Team Leader Officer, you will be responsible for the manual and technical testing of components related to betting area within Fortuna Entertainment Group Sportsbook department. The candidate should be able to take complete ownership of quality on a project or system, analyze risks and execute a full spectrum of tests. We will appreciate a flexible person who is interested in wide range of testing areas from front-ends, APIs to DB testing and test automation.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Test case preparation on projects related to sportsbook betting area
• Plan, schedule and perform manual tests
• Test APIs (REST, SOAP) and database changes
• Identify options for test automation and help with design of automation-ready test cases.
• Actively participate on planning and testing in an Agile Scrum team and act as an advocate for quality therein.
• Regularly communicate with business owners and developers.
• Drive process, technical, and operational improvements.

What We’re Looking For:

You should have experience in:

• 2+ years in software testing
• Experience with technical testing of APIs (SOAP, REST, messaging brokers) strong advantage
• Basic knowledge of SQL and databases
• Advanced English - written and spoken
• Advanced Czech - written and spoken

Nice to have:

• Experience with Agile development and testing
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery concepts
• Experience with test automation
• Knowledge of Java or another object-oriented language
• Passion for testing, software development and new technologies
• Ability to work independently
• Analytical thinking
• Good communication skills
