Current Opportunity 

Right now, we´re seeking 2 Group SEO Specialists to join our Customer Engagement team, responsible for the strategy and execution behind organic discovery of FEG's brands and websites — across traditional search engines and the fast-growing landscape of AI-driven search and answer engines (Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and similar). As SEO Specialist, your mission is to grow qualified organic traffic and its commercial contribution across all markets and brands, ensuring Fortuna's websites, landing pages, and content are not only ranked by search engines but understood, trusted, and surfaced by the AI systems increasingly mediating how customers find us. You will build the technical, content, and authority foundations that make FEG the answer — not just a link — regardless of where the search happens. 

What You’ll Be Doing: 

Your daily activities will include, but not limited to: 

• Define and lead the international organic growth strategy, with direct accountability for traffic, visibility, customer acquisition, and revenue generated through SEO.
• Plan and execute technical and on-page SEO initiatives, optimizing website architecture, content, internal linking, and keyword strategies to maximize search engine rankings.
• Develop and enhance brand visibility across both traditional search engines and AI-powered platforms (ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews), ensuring content is optimized for LLM discovery, retrieval, and citation.
• Own the structured data and schema markup strategy, while monitoring brand presence in AI-generated answers and establishing dedicated AI visibility KPIs alongside traditional SEO metrics.
• Collaborate with content, development, and PR teams to strengthen brand authority, trustworthiness, E-E-A-T signals, and digital PR/link-building efforts, increasing both search performance and AI recognition.
• Analyze and report on organic channel performance using SEO and AI visibility tools, translating data into actionable business insights and promoting SEO and AI search best practices across the organization. 

What We’re Looking For 

You should have experience in: 

• At least 3 years' experience as an SEO specialist.
• Fluent English, both oral and written (at least C1).
• Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms.
• Working knowledge of how AI search and answer engines (AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and similar) retrieve, rank, and cite content, and how this differs from traditional search engine ranking factors.
• Experience with structured data/schema markup implementation.
• Familiar with a range of SEO and AI-visibility monitoring tools and the latest trends and best practices in SEO, SEM, and AI-driven search.
• In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics).
• Knowledge of Google Search Console.
