We’re Fortuna Entertainment Group, and we’re looking for a Senior Android Developer to help shape the technology behind our native sports betting and gaming experience.

As part of our Sportsbook Platform team, you’ll build core app functionality, improve performance and evolve the foundations that other developers build on. This is a hands-on senior role with room to influence architecture, tooling and engineering practices.
What will you work on?
- Develop core features for our native Android apps, bringing sports betting and gaming experiences to customers across FEG markets.
- Shape our Android architecture and build reusable platform modules with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose and Coroutines/Flow.
- Improve app speed, stability and responsiveness, including how we handle real-time data.
- Strengthen automated testing, CI/CD pipelines and the release process to make delivery smoother and more reliable.
- Work closely with Product, Design, QA and Backend teams to turn requirements into well-built features.
- Review code, share your expertise and help raise engineering standards across our Android teams.
- Collaborate with iOS developers to keep the experience consistent across both platforms.
What are we looking for?
- Strong experience developing native Android applications with Kotlin and the Android SDK.
- Hands-on knowledge of Jetpack Compose, Coroutines/Flow and modern Android architecture, including modularisation, MVVM or MVI and dependency injection.
- Experience integrating APIs and handling real-time data, caching and offline behaviour.
- Confidence with automated testing, Gradle, CI/CD and investigating app performance or stability issues.
- Ownership of your work from technical design through release and ongoing improvements.
- A collaborative mindset and English you’re comfortable using in an international team.
What would give you an extra edge?
- Familiarity with iOS development, Swift/SwiftUI or the Apple ecosystem. Android will be your main focus, but an understanding of both platforms would be a welcome advantage.
- Experience working in Scrum or another Agile environment.
- Experience using AI coding tools such as Cursor or Claude, with a critical eye for code quality.
