Currently, we're looking for an Senior IT Engineer to support Linux teams during the entire service life cycle (design, build, operations, CSI, ITSM).
The main goal is to ensure smooth service delivery of dedicated services within the granted responsibility domain, focusing on state-of-the-art service level management (incident/problem/change management etc.).
Responsibilities:
- Administrate business-critical RHEL servers on VMware virtual platform & other cloud platforms;
- Supporting the organisation's infrastructure, services, and application monitoring systems;
- Provide configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting of monitoring and logging tools, as well as the analysis and reporting of system performance;
- Implement changes to managed systems · Support other team members within the delivery of services (monitoring, logging, backup, DNS, SMTP);
- Participation on service delivery during entire project life cycle (identification, ideation, requirements gathering, degin, build, testing, delivery, operation);
- Active participation on Service delivery improvement and service evangelization;
- Propose and implement market IT standards and best practices in the Group IT organization;
- Participation in 24x7 oncall duty rotation.
We require:
- Practice and experience 5+ years;
- Proficient in Linux (RHEL) system administration;
- Experience in maintaining HA standards on heavy traffic systems;
- Knowledge of logging and monitoring tools (Zabbix, ELK, etc.);
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Perl, or similar; REST API);
- Proficient in configuration management tools (Ansible, Salt, or similar);
- General overview of cybersecurity;
- Experience with ITIL processes, ticketing and CMDB tools.
