About our company

Fortuna has become an established brand among customers within just a few years. We became a proud international Family of companies carrying Fortuna Entertainment Group from the first betting shop.

We want to go further and be known for having the best tech department offering our employees the usage of modern technologies, and being part of many exciting projects. Our new home is the remarkable Churchill II building which has a view of Prague.

Every detail underlines the company's corporate culture and represents our values. The workplace layout is 100% ecological, providing ideal conditions for everyday work. We all work as one team and treat each other with respect, openness, a sense of honor and respect for individual and cultural differences.

We are looking for a new member to join our Group IT Security team - someone to who will discuss network settings with FEG Networks team, solution design and penetration test findings with development teams, enhance and improve configurations of security tools to match our company needs. While knowledge of ISO 27001 and similar is fine and appreciated, we would value more experience from the technical part of security, such as ICT operations, security architecture, security testing in CICD pipeline, Cryptography & Secret management, offensive security or hands-on security incident response. And no, this position is not a SOC one.

  • Manage Security oversight over running activities (read: understand what is being built and check that it is ok, security-wise)
  • Participate in creation of technical level security standards (read: argue what particular technologies and settings should be in place)
  • Work on security landscape improvements (read: reduce false or overwhelming alerts, detect more precisely what needs to be detected - and that means also find out what is needed, improve data collection and reporting)
  • Handle Security processes improvements (e.g., vulnerability management, ...)
  • Support SOC where needed - in investigations, following up frequent incidents, ...
  • Coordinate follow-up of security tests, processing specific vulnerability reports from public

  • Technical knowledge in more than at one field (such as networking, pentesting, app development, K8s/Openshift/Docker, Windows security, Azure...)
  • Orientation in security best practices
  • Familiarity with a variety of security tools (e.g. SonarQube, Rapid7, MidPoint, Zed Attack Proxy (ZAP), Defender for Endpoints, …)
  • Sense of dark humour and bad jokes is a big plus

  • Variable compensation bonus
  • Five weeks of holidays
  • Flexible working hours and home office
  • Individual career development plan
  • Meal allowance and Cafeteria Benefit System (universal vouchers for sport, culture, travelling, and health)
  • Special offers and discounts from our partners (Dr. Max, Datart, Škoda Auto)
  • Various events for employees (tickets for sports events, Well-being programs, workshops, conferences)
  • Company gym
  • An informal environment with no dress code
  • Fresh coffee by our Barista, fruit Mondays
  • Modern offices in the Churchill office complex with views of Prague castle
