Current Opportunity:

Right now, we´re seeking for a Senior Release Manager to own the Release Management process within FEG and is responsible for its continuous improvement, ensuring alignment with operational excellence, governance standards, and business delivery needs.

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

Your daily activities will include, but not limited to:

  • Serve as the primary escalation point for release management issues within FEG.
  • Manage and maintain the end-to-end release calendar across products, systems, and environments in coordination with individual release owners. Promote awareness and enforce compliance with the Release Management process across the organization.
  • Own long-term planning and oversight of release initiatives, ensuring alignment with product roadmaps and technical dependencies.
  • Provide regular reporting and metrics on release quality, performance, and risks.
  • Communicate the long-term release schedule to business stakeholders as required. Negotiate, plan, and manage the execution of all release activities, coordinating cross-functional teams.
  • Oversee deployment activities into various environments, ensuring readiness and sequencing among internal and third-party teams.
  • Monitor, analyse, and document issues encountered during release preparation or execution, facilitating root cause analysis and preventive actions.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives for the Release Management process, integrating lessons learned and best practices. Collaborate with other Release Managers to harmonize and standardize practices across teams.

What We’re Looking For:

You should have experience in:

  • Availability to work on shifts every 2 months to coordinate and monitor the release
  • Experience: 8+ years in IT delivery or any role within IT, 5+ in release management, with enterprise and multi-vendor coordination experience
  • Strong tech background in IT environment
  • Strong or some level of CI/CD expertise – Proficient in tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub and most importantly has hands on experiences on building release management frameworks around it.
  • Knowledge of ITIL Service management
  • Knowledge and practical experience with Agile practices is a must
  • Previous experiences in project management practices
  • Proven experience with releases deployment and management
  • Fluency in English - C1 level

 

It would be a bonus if you bring:

  • Czech language
  • Experience both from corporate and small/startup environments
