Current Opportunity:
Right now, we´re seeking a Group Solution Architect to join our great Tech department responsible for: creating overall technical vision for a specific solution to a business problem within unique FEG ecosystem and ensuring FEG strategic objectives can be reached by it. Within it they need to ensure technologies and principles are sound, fit-to-purpose of the goal and rest of FEG architecture layout and definitions, understanding main business needs and reaching them in most optimal way. Act as a bridge between business problems and needs, technological options and solutions and the way how to reach the final goal.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Your daily activities will include, but not limited to:
- Performing design, debug, and analysis on solutions
- Documenting and sharing best practice knowledge for new solutions
- Participate or lead in architectural design of individual project/feature. Providing technical leadership to a team(s) throughout the project lifecycle
- Providing recommendations and roadmaps for proposed solutions. Provide technical inputs to vendors and technically assess their offerings.
- Developing proof-of-concept projects/features to validate your proposed solutions. Reviewing and validating solutions designs from other team members
- Ensuring project/features solutions are applicable in FEG landscape in terms of selected technology, principles, agreed standards and collaboration matrix
- Continuously asses entire delivery area and provide suggestion and examples of potential improvements in units architecture landscape, technology, solutions and/or even way of work
What We’re Looking For:
You should have experience in:
- Master's degree in a relevant subject (e.g. computer science, electronics, mathematics or engineering)
- Advanced spoken and written English (C1 level)
- 5+ years of experience in large IT companies/departments (more than 50 employees), as a senior developer or solution/software architect
- Experiences with IT services in the Development or Operational area
- Good ability to document solutions, both in written form and using appropriate visual tools/techniques, e.g. Visio, Enterprise Architect, UML
- Knowledge of modern programming languages (e.g. Java, C#, Python, modern JavaScript)
- Knowledge of IT architecture, integration patterns, and principles (e.g. SOA)
- Knowledge of SW design principles (e.g. OOD) and SW patterns
- Awareness of modern SW development and operations processes (agile, devops), as well as traditional methods.
- Professional knowledge in one or more of the following areas: modern web front-end/back-end development, middleware/ESB, databases (incl. NoSQL), protocols/interfaces commonly used in IT integration (e.g. SOAP, XML, JSON, SQL, REST, Web Sockets),
It would be a bonus if you bring:
- Experience with the enterprise architecture discipline including knowledge of relevant frameworks (e.g. TOGAF)
