Current Opportunity:

Right now, we´re seeking a Group Solution Architect to join our great Technology Architecture team responsible for: creating overall technical vision for a specific solution to a business problem within unique FEG ecosystem and ensuring FEG strategic objectives can be reached by it. Within it you need to ensure technologies and principles are sound, fit-to-purpose of the goal and rest of FEG architecture layout and definitions, understanding main business needs and reaching them in most optimal way.

 

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

Your daily activities will include, but not limited to:

  • Stewardship of assigned architectural area
  • Performing design, debug, and performance analysis on solutions. Participate or lead in architectural design of individual project/feature
  • Documenting and sharing best practice knowledge for new solutions. Providing recommendations and roadmaps for proposed solutions
  • Provide technical inputs to vendors and technically assess their offerings. Providing technical leadership to a team(s) throughout the project lifecycle
  • Developing proof-of-concept projects/features to validate your proposed solutions
  • Reviewing and validating solutions designs from other team members
  • Ensuring project/features solutions are applicable in FEG landscape in terms of selected technology, principles, agreed standards and collaboration matrix 
  • Continuously asses entire delivery area and provide suggestion and examples of potential improvements in units architecture landscape, technology, solutions and/or even way of work

 

What We’re Looking For:

You should have experience in:

  • Masters or Bachelors degree in a relevant subject (e.g. computer sc., electronics, mathematics, engineering)
  • Fluent in English, both written and oral (at least C1)
  • 5 years of Experience as an architecture expert
  • Experience with the Enterprise architecture discipline incl. knowledge of relevant frameworks (e.g. TOGAF)
  • Good ability to document solutions, both in written and using appropriate visualization tools/techniques, e.g. Enterprise Architect, UML
  • Good level of professional knowledge in one or more of following areas: modern web front-end/back-end development, middleware/ESB, databases (incl. NoSQL), protocols/interfaces commonly used in IT integration (e.g. SOAP, XML, JSON, SQL, REST, Web Sockets)
  • Knowledge of IT architecture and integration patterns and principles (e.g. SOA)
  • Awareness of modern SW development and operations processes (agile, devops), as well as traditional methods

 

 

It would be a bonus if you bring:

  • Experience in the design and tuning of high user concurrency and high transactional volume platforms
  • Experience with large IT implementations / transformations including methodology set up Experience in the deployment of platforms both in cloud and on-prem
  • Czech language is advantage
