Current Opportunity:
Right now, we are´ seeking a Head of Finance to join our Finance Team in Prague. Reporting to our CFO, you would be responsible for ensuring accurate financial management and compliance at the local level, while maintaining close collaboration with the Group Finance to align strategies, reporting standards, and performance objectives
What You’ll Be Doing:
The main responsibilities are to:
- Preparation of the financial plan, and creation and updating of financial forecasts in coordination with company management.
- Management of the company’s cash flow to ensure optimal liquidity for business activities.
- Monitoring and evaluating plan fulfillment (actual vs. planned), with a focus on cost control; collaborating with other management members to implement measures for improving company performance from the perspective of the revenue side as well.
- Setting up and preparing regular and ad-hoc reports within the group.
- Collaborating on the definition of key performance indicators for evaluating company performance.
- Preparing financial results and ensuring the accuracy of accounting/financial statements.
- Participating in all strategic decisions related to the company, assessing proposals from a financial perspective.
- Organizing and ensuring the audit of the company’s financial statements; communication with the auditor.
- Professionally and organizationally managing subordinate employees.
- Preparing reports for the Czech National Bank (ČNB).
- Performing other tasks as instructed by the direct supervisor.
What We’re Looking For:
You should have experience in:
- Bachelor’s degree in economics/finance or any related field
- English language proficiency at C1 level
- Minimum 5 years of experience in finance and accounting, including at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Experience in comprehensive financial management, reporting oversight, and financial analysis
- Background in an international environment
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office
- Team leadership
- Time management
- Strategic management
- Negotiation skills

- Ability to handle crisis situations
- Ability to recognize and provide constructive feedback
- Ability to anticipate and plan ahead
