Current Opportunity:
Right now, we´re seeking a Group Developer to join our great Sportsbook team in Split, responsible for applying analytic thinking to solve problems and finding pragmatic solutions that will be a lasting value for the company's customers. As a Group Developer, you will be responsible of the Development of frontend applications or backend services in programming languages corresponding with FEG technical guidelines.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Your daily activities will include, but not limited to:
- Cooperation with other team members and teams, product owners, and scrum masters. Provide end-to-end technical support and problem resolution.
- Encourage knowledge sharing within the team.
- Ensuring that the code developed is high-quality.
- Ensure that documentation is produced.
- Ensure the code is covered by automated tests to a reasonable extent.
- Working in DevOps environment including code maintenance on production environment
- Understanding and contributing to the technical solution from design to code and unit testing. Working with IT architects to specify the technical solution.
- Ensure flow of information and news up and down the line
What We’re Looking For:
You should have experience in:
- BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- At least 2 years of full-time experience with SW development as a developer
- Good knowledge of English, both verbal and written (at least B2)
- Knowing the theory of object oriented programming (OOP) OR relational databases (RDB) in detail
- Awareness and interest in modern frameworks and technologies within IT
It would be a bonus if you bring:
- GIT experience (or of other version control tools), Bitbucket, GitHub
- Experience with the design of high availability architecture and power scalability
- Experience with message brokers technology (RabbitMQ, Kafka)
- Experience with agile development or DevOps
- Advanced knowledge of Unix/Linux
