Current Opportunity:
Right now, we´re seeking a Group Retail Sports Team Lead to join our great Technology department in Split, responsible for: ensuring the establishment of FEG’s technical vision and leading all aspects of the group’s retail sports team. As Retail Sports Team Lead, you will proactively oversee the planning and execution of the Technology goals, actively support FEG strategy with high-quality deliverables in the Sportsbook unit. The scope of responsibilities includes the full lifecycle of product domain of the retail sports functionality from business requirements translated into architecture design, software/application design, support of release management, monitoring, business continuity, etc.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Your daily activities will include, but not limited to:
- Delivery of functionalities, such as: self-service betting terminals (SSBTs), Sports solution in Retail, Live offer screen (both in-house solution and 3rd parties), Digitalized content in shops, Sportsbook Offer
- Manage the retail sports deliverables, incorporating partnerships and external relationships.
- building and leading a strong, high-performing leadership technology team across FEG’s development centres with a focus on succession planning and talent management related to the area of responsibility.
- Provide visible leadership for the retail sports unit within the FEG technology community.
- Anticipate and react to major market technology changes to ensure the maintenance of FEG retail sports leadership in the competitive landscape
- Ensure the technical standards and processes (in some cases governed by external units such as Enterprise architects)
- Perform further tasks, activities, and projects linked directly or indirectly with the position
What We’re Looking For:
You should have experience in:
- University degree in computer science or similar
- Experienced in spoken and written English (at least B2 level)
- 3+ years of experience in large IT companies/departments (more than 50 employees)
- Advanced experience and knowledge about the complete development lifecycle. Experiences with IT online services in the Development or Operational area
- Advanced knowledge of the full .NET technology stack with proven experience in building standalone end-to-end solutions.
- Proven technical leadership and deep technical expertise.
- Knowledge of common integration patterns, e.g. messaging queues (esp. RabbitMQ), OOD, design patterns, unit tests, build systems, version control systems (esp. Git).
- Experience working on the development of an in-house product.
