Current Opportunity 

We are looking for a Group Configuration Specialist (Mid level) who will independently own configuration for assigned market and product, coordinating with PO, QA and Development teams to deliver predictable, high-quality output.  You will cooperate with product owners, 3rd party vendors, business users (fraud, marketing, finance), business analysts, architects, project managers, other testers and developers. We would like to hire you as soon as possible but we are willing to wait for the right candidate to join our great team in Split.

What You’ll Be Doing: 

• Configuration of application parameters and variables (in CMS, database, configuration files, backend) for web, mobile, desktop and retail applications; owns configuration for assigned market/product scope
• Setting up content and test-data for (pre)production environment, including coordination with market PO for prioritization
• Coordinating mapping of configuration dependencies across departments/projects
• Participates in analysis and test plan preparation for assigned scope; architectural decisions and finalization; in collaboration with Senior team
• Keeping documentation for existing and configuration changes up to date; owns config documentation and change log for assigned market/product
• Manage feedback from application users & quality assurance team and reflect this into configuration adjustments
• Participate in incident management with configuration incidents resolution according to internal SLAs; Tier 1/2 independently; Tier 3 / cross-market incidents escalated to Senior
• Identifies repetitive configuration patterns and documents them as automation/AI candidates for Senior team; does not lead automation development
• Continuous assessment of ways how to improve on configuration implemented; drives continuous improvement of config processes within assigned scope; cross-team process changes
• Conducts basic walkthrough sessions for business users on application capabilities; complex training and vendor-facing education
• Testing the applied configurations on basic functional level and possibly testing backend integration with existing/new third parties/partners; QA ownership: test plan review and sign-off before production for own scope
• Occasional test analysis and test execution assistance may be requested; test cases revision/suggestion to improve on coverage
• Mentors Junior Configuration Specialist (buddy model during onboarding)

What We’re Looking For: 

• High school education
• Fluent verbal and written communication knowledge of English language
• Experience with configuration of business-critical applications at least 2 years
• Experience with any CMS type application(s) configuration at least 2 years
• Quality Assurance / Testing experience at least 1 year         
• Good organizational, interpersonal, communication & presentation skills
