We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with a passion in microservices that is eager to jump in on a new project here with us in FEG. If you are an effective team player that is able to work independently with agile methodology and tools, this opportunity just might be right for you!
YOU WILL:
- Provide expertise in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing
- Create well designed, testable, efficient code
- Develop, implement and maintain Java based applications (main focus on the development of back-end microservice apps)
- Work in DevOps environment = you build it, you run it
- Participate in circular on-call duties together with other team members
THE TOOLS WE USE:
- Java 17, SpringBoot, Ignite, Kafka,PostgresSQL
- Jira, Confluence
- Git, Bitbucket
- SonarQube, Slack, Teams
YOU HAVE:
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Java Developer
- Knowledge of Java 17, Spring Boot Framework
- Knowledge of Apache Kafka
- Experience with developing REST APIs and OpenAPI/Swagger
BONUS KNOWLEDGE THAT WILL BE HIGHLY APPRECIATED:
- Experience in GIT (or other version control tools), Bitbucket and GitHub
- Experience with technology message brokers (RabbitMQ)
- Experience with agile development or DevOps
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Openshift or similar platform
