Current Opportunity:
Right now, we are´ seeking a Group Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our Technology Team in Split (Croatia). Reporting to our Group Player Management & CRM Team Lead, you will be responsible for preparing test cases and their automation including data automation and 3rd parties mocking in Fortuna Entertainment Group. The candidate should be able to take complete ownership of the quality of a project, feature or system. You will ensure continuous development of test automation, analyze risks, write and execute a full spectrum of automated tests including their data provisioning or mocking. We will appreciate a flexible person with a strong testing and technical background that is able to work independently in a dynamic environment with frequent changes.
What You’ll Be Doing:
The main responsibilities are to:
- Create, prepare update and execute test cases, test steps and data needed based on a Test plan, Test Suite changes or deliverable assignment.
- Be capable to test APIs (REST, SOAP, message brokers,.) and database changes.
- Be capable to Mock 3rd parties’ interfaces and data.
- Identify changes in deliverables in purpose to update the Test Suites and Regression tests.
- Report and re-test found bugs in JIRA.
- Regularly communicate with QA engineers and developers within the team and company.
- Actively participate within the QA community.
- Actively participate in planning and testing of Agile or Project deliverables.
- Investigate opportunities for test automation including the design of automation-ready test cases.
- Automate tests using in Java within official framework.
- Actively participate on introducing AI test automation tool(s) in FEG.
- Create, update, and maintenance automated scripts so that they can run reliably in several countries on different browsers and platforms.
- May deputize Identification of product areas, components and systems to be tested, and test data to be prepared in the content of Test plan creation.
What We’re Looking For:
You should have experience in:
- High/University education.
- 3+ years in software testing and 2+ years in code-based test automation.
- Experience with technical testing of APIs (SOAP, REST, messaging brokers).
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and Advanced knowledge of object-oriented programming (preferably Java).
- Master with test case design, test case management and defect management tools.
- English minimum B2 level - written and spoken.
- Experience with code-based JAVA automation.
- Experience with automation testing of desktop applications.
- Experience with manual or automated testing of APIs: SOAP, REST, message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Experience of automated performance testing (K6, SmartMeter, Dynatrace usage,…) is an advantage.
- Certified Tester Test Automation Engineer (CT-TAE) or equivalent is an advantage.
- Experience with NoSQL databases (Ignite, MongoDB, Elastic) is an advantage.
- Experience with Agile development and testing.
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery concepts.
- Knowledge of shell scripting.
- Passion for automation-first approach and new technologies
- Ability to work independently.
- Analytical thinking.
