Current Opportunity:
Right now, we’re looking for someone like you to join us as a Scrum Master on our Gaming Delivery Team. Scrum Masters are leaders and coaches for an Agile Team. They help educate the team, ensuring that the agreed Agile process is followed. They help remove impediments and they are accountable for the Scrum Team’s effectiveness and delivery and its improvement. They do this by enabling the Scrum Team to improve its practices within the Scrum framework, and by keeping the team members motivated, engaged and in spirit of collaboration
What You’ll Be Doing:
You’ll collaborate with Development teams, RTEs, Product Owners, team leaders, stakeholders and other scrum masters. Your daily activities will include:
- Apply appropriate methodology (Scrum / Kanban), agile, lean and FEG principles and values.
- Coach/Support the team members in self-management and cross-functionality.
- Continuously improve and challenge of team / company performance
- Own and resolve blockers and problems that the team is unable to solve themselves.
- Be the methodology Expert. Honor or improve company common standards.
- Help to identify, track and address delivery risks and impediments in the Team, escalate if needed.
- With the help of RTE, create an environment, where issues can be openly discussed and resolved.
- Monitor and optimize the team performance.
- Document and enforce (or improve) the agreements made by the team (such as “This is the way we work”, “This is how we act” ...)
- Be the partner, coach, counterbalance and challenger for product owners and team leaders.
- Act as a facilitator – focus on team level but also help with scaled and company-wide facilitation.
- Act as the JIRA guru - Find anomalies and investigate.
- Be the change agent for the entire company. Dedicate part of the capacity to improving productivity and culture of the entire company.
- Act as a bridge between development teams and business stakeholders, ensuring the team understands the why behind priorities.
- Partner with Product Owners to refine backlogs, ensuring business value is maximized.
- Support teams in understanding customer impact and making data-driven decisions.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in Agile roles (Scrum Master, Agile Coach, Product Owner, or similar)
- University degree in computer science, information technology, or similar would-be advantage
- English Language (Upper-intermediate), Croatian Language would be an advantage
- Working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban, to deliver solutions.
- Able to work in a fast-changing environment (react to reality)
- Agile/Scrum/Kanban or any other Agile frameworks
- Overview of any scaled Agile approach.
- Optionally Continuous improvement / Lean techniques
- Understanding of Product Ownership, prioritization, and value-driven development.
- Knowledge of PDLC/SDLC and ability to optimize processes.
- Excellent people and project management skills.
- Strong communication, presentation, process optimization and Coaching skills
- Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to challenge teams, PO, and leadership constructively.
