Current Opportunity 

We are searching for a Group Senior Configuration Specialist and the candidate will be the technical lead for configuration, DevOps operations, and QA automation within the Gaming Configuration team, owns deployment pipelines, release execution, and automated testing frameworks that reduce manual QA effort and improves release reliability across markets. The candidated handles Tier 3+ configuration incidents, vendor escalations, and cross-market/platform integrations (including Virtual products)  and defines QA standards and mentors Mid and Junior team members. 

 

What You’ll Be Doing: 

  • Configuration of application parameters and variables (in CMS, database, configuration files, backend) for web, mobile and desktop applications; complex integrations, cross-market and platform scope
  • Coordinating mapping of configuration dependencies across departments/projects; leads dependency analysis for new platforms and providers
  • Responsibility for proper analysis, architecture finalization and test strategy for complex scope, in collaboration with architects and PO
  • Keeping documentation for existing configuration, deployment runbooks, automation assets and configuration changes up to date
  • Manage feedback from application users and quality assurance team; drives configuration adjustments for platform-wide and cross-market topics
  • Participate in incident management; resolves Tier 3+ configuration incidents and vendor escalations according to internal SLAs
  • DevOps and Release Operations: involved in deployment and release execution for configuration changes, including CMS snapshot/publish workflows; supports and maintains config-related CI/CD pipelines and deployment runbooks; coordinates with Gaming Services, INFRA and Development on production deployments; executes and improves post-deploy smoke verification; manages rollback procedures and release communication
  • QA Automation and Testing Standards: designs, builds and maintains automated smoke and regression test suites for configuration changes (web, mobile, native); reduces manual testing load by automating repetitive post-deploy and pre-release checks; defines QA standards, checklists and sign-off criteria for Mid and Junior team members; maintains test data scripts and reusable test assets; collaborates with QA on coverage gaps
  • Automation and Continuous Improvement: leads identification and implementation of configuration process automation; evaluates and pilots AI/automation tooling to improve team throughput; drives cross-team process improvements for config, testing and release workflows
  • Educating and mentoring Mid and Junior Configuration Specialists; conducts complex walkthrough sessions and vendor-facing technical discussionsmaybe requested - test cases revision/ suggestion to improve on coverage

 

What We’re Looking For: 

  • High school education/ Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a relevant field
  • Fluent verbal and written communication knowledge of English language
  • Experience with configuration of business-critical applications at least 3 years
  • Quality Assurance / Testing experience at least 2 years
  • DevOps / release management experience in production environments at least 1 year
  • Test automation experience (scripting, CI integration, smoke/regression suites) at least 1 year
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and deployment pipelines (e.g. Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or equivalent)
  • Scripting for automation and test data (e.g. Python, Bash, PowerShell, or equivalent)
  • Experience with test management tools (e.g. Zephyr, Xray) and API-based testing
  • SQL (PostgreSQL) for config validation and troubleshooting
  • Good organizational, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
