Current Opportunity:

We’re looking for a Senior QA Engineer who will be responsible primarily for technical and automated testing including data automation and 3rd parties mocking in Fortuna Entertainment Group. The candidate should be able to take complete ownership of the quality of a project, system or agile product area, or feature continuous development, analyze risks, write and execute a full spectrum of automated tests including their data provisioning or mocking. We look forward to onboarding a flexible team member with a strong testing and technical background that is able to work independently in a dynamic environment with frequent changes.

What You’ll Be Doing:

You’ll collaborate with QA Specialists, Business Analysts, Architecture, Software Development, Network and DevOps teams. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Create, prepare update and execute test cases, test steps and data needed based on a Test plan, Test Suite changes or deliverable assignment
  • Be capable to test APIs (REST, SOAP, messaging brokers,.) and database changes
  • Be capable to Mock 3rd parties interfaces and data
  • Identify changes in deliverables in purpose to update the Test Suites and Regression tests
  • Report and re-test found bugs in JIRA
  • Regularly communicate with QA Leads, QA Analysts and developers
  • Actively participate within the QA community
  • Actively participate in planning and testing of Agile or Project deliverables
  • Investigate opportunities for test automation including the design of automation-ready test cases.
  • Automate tests using in Java within official framework
  • Create, update, and maintenance automated scripts so that they can run reliably in several countries on different browsers and platforms
  • May deputize Identification of product areas, components and systems to be tested, and test data to be prepared in the content of Test plan creation

What We’re Looking For:

  • University education
  • 5+ years in software testing
  • 3+ years in code-based test automation
  • Experience with technical testing of APIs (SOAP, REST, messaging brokers)
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and object-oriented programming (preferably Java)
  • Mastering with test case design, test case management and defect management tools
  • English Language (Intermediate), Croatian language would be a strong advantage
  • Certified Tester Test Automation Engineer (CT-TAE) or equivalent
  • Experience with code-based JAVA automation, automation testing of desktop applications, manual or automated testing of APIs: SOAP, REST, messaging brokers, automated performance testing (K6, SmartMeter, Dynatrace usage,…)
  • Experience with Agile development and testing
  • Experience with NoSQL databases (Ignite, MongoDB, Elastic)
  • Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery concepts
  • Knowledge of shell scripting
  • Passion for automation-first approach and new technologies
  • Ability to work independently and Analytical thinking
